      A.      Meaning of shadaqah

   Shadaqah is giving some property or giving some money without hopping the human gift but just hopping merit from Allah. Giving shadaqah means giving something by sincerity.

“Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Al-Baqarah; 262)

Shadaqah is suggested in Islam and shadaqah can be done in everywhere.

     

     B.      The basic law of shadaqah.

It teaches us about everything that we have is from Allah.

“Then would those who are followed clear themselves of those who follow (them): they would see the Chastisement, and all relations between them would be cut off.” (Al-baqarah: 166)

“It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and from the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and give Zakat; to fulfill the contracts ye have made, and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout  all periods of panic. Such as the people of truth, the God fearing.” (Al-Baqarah: 177)

There are still many verses of the Quran that explain the important thing of shadaqah.

       

      C.      Kinds of shadaqah

We can do shadaqah like:

1.       Doing the true thing.

2.       Planting the plant that has been eaten by bird or human.

3.       Making someone to be happy.

4.       Giving a meal and a drink is for animal or wild.

      D.      Harmony and rules of shadaqah

Harmony of shadaqah

1. Someone who is shadaqah giver (mutashadiq)

2. Someone who is shadaqah accepter (mutashadaq lahu)

3. Something that will be given (mustahadaq bihi)

4. Step down o.’s the thing (Ijab and qobul)

Rules of shadaqah

1.       It is for the shadaqah giver who must be adult, be the owner of shadaqah thing and be willingness.

2.       It is for the shadaqah accepter who really needs shadaqah.

3.       It is for the shadaqah thing that must be clear, real and it has benefit for the shadaqah accepter.

      

        E.       Superiority and guidance of shadaqah

1.       Giving shadaqah won’t decrease our property. It will give the addition of our property.

 “O ye who believe! Eat of the good things that we have provided foe you. And be grateful to Allah, if it is Him ye worship.” (Al-Baqarah : 172)

2.       Giving shodaqah is as medicines of illness.

3.       Giving shadaqah holds the Allah’s fury.

4.       Giving shadaqah is for keeping the human relation.

5.       We will get the windfall from Allah.

6.       Giving shadaqah will erase the sin and mistake

“And those who followed would say: ‘if only we had one more chance, we would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us.’ Those will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be away for them out of the fire.” (Al-Baqarah: 167)

7.       We will get the merit that is like what I do in paradise.

8.       We will get the Allah’s helping.

9.       If we do jariyah shadaqah , its merit will flow forever.

10.   We will be avoided from the bad die by giving shadaqah.
